Biography :
Jennifer Sylvester is an Ojibwe-Pottawatomi-Odawa from Gchimnissing (Beausoliel) First Nation, Georgian Bay, ON. She is currently a Ph.D student in The Department of Leadership, Higher and Adult Education (LHAE) at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Jennifer played an integral role in bringing a powwow back to University of Toronto. She is an advocate for Indigenous social issues, but more importantly equity, protection and inclusion for all Indigenous women. Jennifer is also a single parent to a vivacious teenager.
