This panel will explore the role of adult immersion programing as a pathway to high-level language proficiency, highlighting the learning and teaching journeys of leading young speakers who became highly proficient through adult immersion. Panelists will share how they moved from adult learners to full-time language teachers and reflect on the challenges and transformations along the way. Together, they will discuss how adult immersion is a vital strategy for strengthening community language use and long-term revitalization.
